I am looking to find a website that has a database for elements in the periodic table. Specifically, I need the data in the form of a file in the format of .json or similar.
I found NIST (
https://www.nist.gov/pml/productsservices/physical-reference-data), but it doesn't include a lot of data on discovery date, boiling point, melting point, thermal conductivity, atomic orbitals, etc.
I looked at the Royal Society of Chemistry and each element had data I was looking for, but I couldn't find the data as a file. It appeared it was only on the website. (ex link:
http://www.rsc.org/periodic-table/element/1)
I also looked under ChemSpider, but the data was not in any file, it is just on the web page.
I am specifically looking for something like this:
https://physics.nist.gov/cgi-bin/Compositions/stand_alone.pl?ele=&ascii=ascii&isotype=all, or a file that contains data on each element in text format. Data including discovery date, boiling point, melting point, etc. Preferably, I would like the data to be in a .json, .csv, .xml, or some file format that contains data. Is there some data source that I am completely missing that people in the Chemistry field use for this purpose? Thanks for the help, Joseph.
