Title: molarity and molality
Post by: omw1 on December 07, 2013, 06:08:21 PM
A 9.4 gram piece of Ca was washed with .482 L of .437 Molar HCl.

Ca + 2HCl --> CaCl2 + H2

what mass of Ca metal remained after this reaction?

You've used three different units in your question -- grams, liters and molarity.  You're not going to solve this problem without converting them.  Can you show us how you'd do this?  Its a good first step for solving this and similar problems.

Sorry to answer a question with a question, but that's how things are done here --  forum rules (http://www.chemicalforums.com/index.php?topic=33740.0)
