Title: Kinetics: Partial mechanism
Post by: candiishop on November 06, 2006, 09:23:46 AM
I have a question which i don't understand:

It says a partial mechansim for the reaction may be proposed as :

MnO4- + C6H5CH2OH + H+ --------> intermediate

Write one sentence to explain why such a mechanism is flawed?? Thanks heaps
