Title: mixing baking soda and water at varying temperatures
Post by: crb on November 26, 2004, 01:12:29 PM
I am in the 5th grade and doing the following experiment:

Mix baking powder and water in a bottle with a cork.  I am going to vary the water temperature and measure the distances the cork travels as the water temperature increases.

What temperatures should I test?

Thaks

I guess I did not think of what the maximum temperature water could be brought up to.   :o  I do not know the answer, but it will be good for me to research it.

Thanks for the idea!
