Ok, well, Our Teacher is giving us a HUGE chemistry lab which is worth 30% of our overall mark. He will assign us groups and each group will either have an unknown Liquid, Solid or Mixture/Solution. I can think of a few ways to identify if its an acid or base but im drawing blanks for everything else. I would really appreciate any help or explanations on identifying an unknown chemical.

do you have a general idea what kind of unknowns will be present? salts? organics? biologicals?
