What type of reaction is the production of Bromide from Bromine? Reduction or Oxidation?

reduction which is gain of electrons so it is chlorine or iodine but i dont know which one is able to react with bromine

Reactivity series are usually defined for metals, but they work for halogens as well. You just have to know in which direction.

i do not understand this question.......

i now think it is Chloride, Cl - because it needs to gain electrons

on the other hand Br - ions need to be formed which means electrons could be gained from Chlorine, Cl2 ?
