Title: trimethylsilylcyanide reaction work up

i am doing cyanohydrin preparation  for that i want to use  trimethylsilyl cyanide ,but i dont know procedure for work up of trimethylsilyl cyanide
pls.explain??

just do a normal extractive work up, I assume you are not using an excess of TMSCN?

then remove it by Vac distillation. A Rotavap with H2O vac <10mBar @ 30-40°C should be good enough, if your product is thermally stable
