Title: Oxidation number of O
Post by: Abder-Rahman on February 12, 2011, 05:38:44 AM
If Oxygen (O) was a pure element, it O.N would be ZERO. Is that right?

But, what is the O.N for (O) in O2?

Thanks.

It will be 0  ;)

O2 is a pure oxygen after all.
