Title: Undergrad Worries
Post by: scaudill32 on March 19, 2011, 03:22:26 AM
I'm about to enter my senior year of college. I'm a chemistry major (focus on biochemistry) and my future is beginning to loom over me. I'm studying at a small university and I don't have the best gpa, meaning I've missed out on the very few undergraduate research programs available.  My question is, is it best to immediately pursue graduate school or try to enter the job market. My ideal career is in pharmaceutical research although I'm not adverse to other jobs. The only problem is that I have no job experience. I would appreciate any advice.

You want to get a MS degree at minimum first I personally think. Look for part time chemistry jobs in your area too while in undergrad.
