Title: Chemistry GRE
Post by: Jorriss on March 27, 2011, 10:26:05 PM
Hello everyone,
I'm a ways away from actually taking the GRE but I've been curious for a while what people do to prepare for the subject tests. Any chance anyone who has taken it can offer some insights? What should one study, how long did you study for, etc.
Thanks,

That doesn't really answer anything I was curious about.

Get all the Chemistry GRE practice test you can. Timing is just as important as knowledge in these things. Getting used to flipping for a periodic table (you are not allowed to tear it out), etc.

Getting some books with explanations of the answers are good too.

But practicing is more important in my opinion then any amount of reviewing you can do for it.
