Title: Need URGENT help with my homework. It's my 1st year of chemistry.

I have these . I have been an hour trying to do them . Can anyone tell me how they needs to be answered?

For the 1st question, what types of bonding do you know?

For the 2nd question, what does the diagram show?

4a is Oxygen , Carbon and Hydrogen I know that for 4b I need to count the dot and crosses?

How do ionic and covalent bonds differ?  What are the driving forces behind them both?

No, not the dots and crosses - these represent electrons.
