Title: Shimadzu AA-6800 Graphite furnace
Post by: VeraGTi on April 30, 2006, 03:37:38 PM
Hi there,

I´m new here... Congratulations for this forum!
Does anyone here works with a A6800 or similar? I'm having doubts in the graphite furnace option..

Do you already have this instrument? I can tell you that my experience with it has not been good. We have had problems with the autosampler and the graphite furnace. The autosampler design is not good. We have had the service engineer come several times to fix the furnace, but the problem always comes back. It seems to be related to electrical connection of the graphite cap and holder. For AA I would recommend purchasing an instrument from a different manufacturer. However, I must say that we LOVE our Shimadzu HPLC's.

Hi,

I´m new here too. I speak Spanish, so I will try to write English correctly.

I work with a SPECTRA AA 280FS graphite furnace option.

Ask me whatever you want.
