Title: How to draw a (nice-looking) polygon (with a pencil)?
Post by: mir on May 30, 2006, 12:31:16 PM
How do I draw nice looking sevensided and fivesided polygons, for use in structural formulas?

Just sit down and practice for a few minutes until you can draw them well.  At first you can try drawing a circle first and inscribing the polygons within the circle.

Hmm... well if you're allowed to use a protractor and ruler it shouldn't be difficult.  Use the protractor to make sure your pentagone has uniform 108Âșangles and sides of equal length.

maybe u tried drawing stars without lifting your pencil then connecting their vertices, it would be easier to draw that pentagon
