Title: Pet odors

My female dog left a dark smelly stain on my favorite upholstered chair, I tried baking soda, Apple cider vinegar, and rubbing alcohol, sequentially, pet odor gone, chair now smells like a salad, help please

Acetic acid is pretty volatile. Given time, it will dissipate. In the future, use white vinegar, since apple cider vinegar has pigments that can stain fabrics.

You've done a good thing, using solutions that will change to pH, to get these smelly compounds off the fabric.  If you have the problem again, you can try more dilute solutions repeatedly.  A wet-dry vac, which allows you to wash the area and pull the water out is also helpful.
