Title: Avoiding over/underflow Error on Calculator?
Post by: stopkillingme21 on July 20, 2017, 04:19:08 PM
I'm calculating the equilibrium constant using k = e^nFE/RT

The current problem I'm typing in is e^ (3)(96485)(1.29)/(8.314)(298)

It should return 2.84x10^65; however, everytime I attempt it, I get an overflow error.

How do you avoid this error on a non-graphing scientific calculator?

What do you get if you type e^150,71?
