Title: Extraction of Menthol from Peppermint Oil

I was thinking of trying this just to see if I could, however, the oils of Peppermint Oil and Methanol have similar solubilities. I was able to find a poorly written paper on the subject from the 1940's, however, I was wondering if there was a modern, accessible way of extracting it (I don't really want to synthesize Acetyl chloride!)
