Title: Glass tips for Gilson P1000

Do glass tips for Gilson Micro pipettes exist? I am interested in having tools to pipette acids and bases and to basically have more resilient tips than plastic.
On Amazon I saw a comment that Gilson micro pipettes should not be used for acids. Is this correct? If so is it just plastic tip issue or actual pipette internals? Do adapters exist to connect Gilson P1000 to surrological glass pipette?

The issue is not with the pipette tips but with the internals of the pipette.  Vapors from volatile acids will get inside of the pipette and damage it.  The plastics used in most pipette tips are fairly acid resistant (e.g see the chemical compatibility chart in https://www.gilson.com/pub/static/frontend/Gilson/customtheme/en_US/images/docs/GuideToPipettingE.pdf).  Some tips have filters that can help limit exposure of the pipette interior to aerosols.
