Title: What is the name of the adapter or device I am lookilooking for

Looking for a 24/40 adaptor that can accept 24/40 male as input, plug in to a female 24/40 socket on a flask and inject incoming gas at the bottom of the flask. Or perhaps I need flask adapter assembly, not just adapter. Basically looking for "proper" tool to bubble HCl through DI water to create clean hydrochloric acid. Acid source will be muriatic acid heated in another flask, followed by fractionating column then feeding this final flask.

I think you want a Drechsel bottle.
