Title: FOLLOW-UP Question aboun NIC-SALTS titration

I emailed the manufacturer of nic salts i am using asking for molar weight of their salt and the reply i got back states: "Unfortunately I am unable to disclose the ingredients or formula we use to create our salt nicotine, but we use a GC/MS machine to check strength as titration isn't possible. I hope this helps!".

My question is: Why would titration be not possible? This is not a first time i am hearing such claim, but not sure what it is based on.

Hmm... Interesting. I can see how a finished ejuice would have flavorings, which is a bunch of compounds would skew the results. Interesting thing is that titration kits are being sold for freebase nicotine, but not for nicotine salts.
