Title: Solubility Product Question
Post by: exocytosis646 on June 02, 2019, 01:44:32 PM
How many moles of Ni (OH)2 will dissolve in one liter of a solution of Naoh with a pH of 12.34? Neglect hydrolysis of ions.

You have to show your attempts at solving the problem to receive help, this is a forum policy.

I tried converting pH to find concentration of hydrogen.  But I don't know if that is even necessary. I'm lost. I have no idea what the equation would be and what I start by doing.

Finding concentration of OH- is a good starting point.

Have you checked Ksp value for the Ni(OH)2?
