Title: Industrial Postdocs

What do you think about industrial postdoc? Does it provide better transition from academia to industry?

The ad I saw say "possibility to turn permanent after 2 year contract", how likely is it?

Only take it if you have no other choice. That is to say, if you cant find an industrial job. Postdocs are not great replacements for industrial experience.
