Title: PLS-DA

Hi,

I am an analytical chemistry graduate student and I'm trying to use PLS-DA (partial least squares - discriminant analysis) to analyze my data.  I've been trying to understand how this method of multivariate analysis works. I have been trying to read about it, but no one has explained it in terms that I actually understand yet. I don't have a ton of background in multivariate analysis, so this is really difficult. Can anyone dumb down how to do PLS-DA?
