Title: Defining Hydrogen Cyanide (HCN) as Lewis acid
Post by: Varlam on June 26, 2019, 09:39:13 PM
Lewis acid is an electron pair acceptor from a Lewis base.

How is Hydrogen cyanide (HCN) defined as a Lewis acid?

Is it the hydron who accepts the electrons from a base? or the carbon which accepts electrons from the hydorgen?
