Title: Organic reactions with catalist

I tried to find the products A,B and C. But I don't understand the purpose of the sodium phenoxide, nor the tetrahydrofuran dry. If anyone could explain. The reactions are:
- alkyl halide with sodium phenoxide giving A.
- ketone with grignard compound and tetrahydrofuran dry giving B
-B with HCl dilute and water giving C

It is a forum rule that you must provide your attempt before we can help you.  I am not sure that the title of this thread correctly describes your question.  In any case, I will provide a small hint.  I suspect that the only reason that dry tetrahydrofuran is specified is that water would quench the Grignard reagent.
