What are the possible easy ways to extract elemental sulphur from sodium sulphate?
-
Good start:
sulfate-reducing bacteria
in Wikipedia

Sprotz, in an other thread you asked how to make salpeter.
We don't discuss explosives here.
-
Saltpeter isn't explosive until mixed with charcoal. It has other uses besides making black powder.
-
Not many other uses when mixed with sulfur. C'mon, we're not stupid here.
-
Of course, I know. And yes my interest is self made black powder propellant.
-
Not questioning your motives, sprotz. But for liability reasons this forum has a policy of not discussing the manufacturing of explosives.

From the forum rules
We have nothing against a reasonable scientific discussion of the properties of drugs and explosives, but we will not help you hurt yourself making them. If you you think your question might cross the line, feel free to send a private message to one of our moderators asking if the questions is acceptable. Note that even if the question is acceptable, discussion may take such a direction we will decide to close the thread. Due to their potential health hazards, we will also not help you prepare your own medicines or cosmetics.
So let us keep the discussion theoretical
Another point is in this forum we try to help the chemistry hobbyist stay safe. There are several posts in this forum that discuss safety equipment and procedures.
