Title: analytical methods
Post by: larache121 on October 21, 2019, 02:53:21 PM
Hi everyone,
After converting a production process, a polyethylene producer receives an unusually large number of complaints about its LD-PE product.Customers complain of discoloration of the material, which intensifies when heated. Microscopic examination revealed micron-sized crystallites embedded in the polymer.

what analytical methods i  can use to determine the nature and extent of the contamination?

THANK YOU !!

ok. well i think i can use (ATR)  IR spectroscopy to determine the nature of  the contamination but for the extent of the contamination,  will GC-MS work ?
