Hi all– total chemistry layman here :P
I work in textiles and want to better understand exactly how fossil fuels are transformed into PET and eventually Polyester textile fibres.
I've produced the attached infographic based on some research I've done; tried to keep it reductive and comprehensible so that other laymen may be able to understand this chemical process.
Would be wonderful if you could give me your feedback on whether this is accurate and, if not, how I could amend it to be more so.
