Title: Caking
Post by: bwchrome on February 07, 2020, 01:47:54 AM
I have a basic chem question.
Agents like carbonates, sultafe's, meta-borate, etc..
Are they still good to use if they have caked to the point that you have to take a mallet to them??
These have been all closed in plastic or the original bags - maybe 3 or 4 years old.

Thanks a bunch!

If they got caked then it means they are wet. It depends what you like to do with it, normally they still good to use.
