Title: How do you find the number of orbitals when given the quantum numbers?
Post by: rilynblue26@gmail.com on February 08, 2020, 11:53:17 AM
I'm really stuck on this homework question :'(

How many orbitals are described by each of the below combinations of quantum numbers?
n= 4
l=2
ml
= 2
I thought it was 5 orbitals but I got it wrong. Any help will be much appreciated!
