Title: Question on Sodium chloride + Phosphoric acid
Post by: Kunshirostorm on February 13, 2020, 03:28:20 PM
I have a question about mixing NaCl and H3PO4, i don't know if it does anything.

my experience: heat red phosphorus to make P4O10, but P4O10 react with hmidity and make H3PO4. i need to mix NaCl with P4O10 to make POCl3...

So i whant to know when does the p4o10 starts mixing with water (temperature) and if h3po4 interact with NaCl. thanks for the answer :)

Hi Kunshirostorm,

are you equipped and trained to deal with these compounds? For instance POCl3 is dangerous.

i know that this compound is dangerous i have a pdf file about all the detail of dangerosity and safety etc..., i know it is violently reacting to water. but i just need to know if phosphoric acid react with pure salt
