Title: Does gasoline(at the gas station) dissolve or corrode cotton/polyester?

Does Gasoline corrode or dissolve cotton/polyester? In other words if you were at the pump and you spilled it on your clothing, would it dissolve the fibers of polyester?

Cotton no, polyester can be harmed.
