Title: Epichlorohydrin Barrel

New to forum - Question presented to me is how to clean/purge or destroy a barrel with residue of Epichlorohydrin?

A mixture of Ethanol or isopropanol and sodiumhydroxide should work, to destroy the Epichlorhydrin.

Thank you. If destroying the barrel do you recommend purge first before cutting up?

Yes! Add the alcohol and NaOH first, give it a good shake to get in all the nooks and crannies, and let it sit for a while. Then open, empty liquids, rinse with water, then chop up.
