Hi all,
I have a question related to the mass fraction. If I have a mixture of N2, O2 and O, is the dissocation fraction (mass basis) α = (O)/(O + O2 + N2) or does it exclude [N2]?
Thanks. :)

The dissociation fraction of O2 is 0.5[O ]/(0.5[O ] + [O2]). Do you see why?
Edit: include a space in [O ] or it gives odd formatting!
