Title: Help with easy calculation for Everyday Chem.
Post by: 651561651651bhjm616fgb1m on April 06, 2020, 12:09:41 AM
"Calculate energy needed to heat your water given that the US shower heads are federally mandated to use no more than 9,480 g of water per min; water is being heated from 25oC to 50oC; and it takes 1 cal to heat 1 gram of water by 1o . Show all relevant calculations"

Teacher sent this: [cid:73B5B907-4B4F-4C64-BDDA-538326BC817B]

I don't know enough of this to make sense of it.

No idea what is cid, but the question itself is just basic heat calculation, plug and chug. You can assume 5 minutes shower.
