Title: How to make magnesium alloy of CeCo3 or CeCo5
Post by: magnetmaniac on April 11, 2020, 07:33:42 PM
I am trying to figure out how I would be able to make the magnetic material talked about in this research:
https://journals.aps.org/prapplied/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevApplied.10.034038 (https://journals.aps.org/prapplied/abstract/10.1103/PhysRevApplied.10.034038)

What the researcher said is that they did magnesium alloying of about 1/3 to the CeCo3.

I don't have extensive chemistry knowledge but I'm a quick learner and I would be hiring a chemist to make it for me. I just want to know the process and what form of the metals would I need to start with.

I really appreciate any help.
