Title: An Interesting Find on Internet Stats
Post by: constant thinker on September 16, 2006, 09:50:30 PM
I found an interesting website that has internet statistics.

http://www.internetworldstats.com/stats.htm

The penetration for North American internet usage is 68.6% while Europe is only a surprising 36.4%. I expected Europe to be around 50%. The fastest growing areas are the Middle East followed closely by Africa.

The internet only has 16% penetration in the world population though. I thought it was close to 20%.

EU is over 50%, note that the average is brought down by Eastern Europe.

I never thought of that Borek. That explains why it was low.
