I have a stock solution of 1 mg/mL of a specific drug
I need to take a dosage of 5 MICROgrams. So 1 drop of the stock solution would be 0.05 mL or 0.05 mg(50 ug)
If i take 1 drop of the stock solution and dilute it in 9 drops of water it will be a 1:10 dilution
So would the 10 drops contain 5 MICROgrams and would i just take this to get that dose or do i need to take 0.05 mL(1 drop) from this dilution?
Sorry if this is a dumb question i just havent done this in a while- i appreciate the help

You give 50 μg = 1 drop together with 9 drops of water. 10 drop of this mixture still contain 50 μg. If you take now 1 drop of it, you would have 5 μg.
