Title: Graphite Furnace AA Spectroscopy Help
Post by: mnkubatz on May 19, 2020, 03:35:35 PM
I am looking for someone who could give advice for AA spectroscopy, specifically using a graphite furnace. We have been fighting for months with our GFAA and cannot get certain elements to calibrate properly. We also are burning through cuvettes like candy.

We have called our manufacturer and they've checked our furnace numerous times and have found nothing wrong. So I am now assuming it must be something we are doing, and I am at a loss for things to try.

Any tips or help would be great.

Which elements, what concentration ranges, what have you tried, and what do the calibration curves look like?
