Title: Physical chemistry...
Post by: karbotilne5 on June 21, 2020, 03:24:24 AM
I am nearing the end of my undergraduate route of a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry; Currently taking my second semester of Physical Chemistry which mainly focused on quantum mechanics and the such.. To make this post as short as possible:

Physical Chemistry has proven to be the bane of my existence.

-I plan to go straight into the workforce upon graduation hopefully in some sort of quality control and the such, research would prove to be very interesting as well but most definitely working under the wing of a more experienced chemist.

My question to you guys is, will my hatred for Physical Chemistry come back to haunt me in what will be the near future?

If you want to go into analytical, entry level its not very likely you'll need to do the same things as the questions on a phys chem exam. I find that in industry most problems are smaller and you can probably google an equation if you need it.
