Title: Lewis structures with formal charges on Mastering Chemistry
Post by: jaemasl on July 12, 2020, 11:51:48 AM
How do I input the formal charges on mastering chemistry? It says my answer is missing the formal charges, but I simply don't know how to input them into the program. Any help is appreciated, thank you.

You probably need to calculate, use an editor and write.

I figured it out thanks, I had to click the + and - symbols in the bottom left and then click the elements. Sulfur having one positive (+) and the Oxygen with the single bond having one negative (-).

If everything fails, read the instructions.
