Title: Maquat
Post by: Naz52 on August 14, 2020, 11:37:42 AM
I'm putting together a project and will be storing maquat mc1412-80 in a tank.  I will need to pump this product to the manufacturing process.  My deli-ma is I don't know much about this chemical and can't find a compatibility chart of what piping to use, stainless steel, pvc, cpvc etc.

According to the SDS
Chemical name:
Quaternary Ammonium
Compounds,
Benzyl-C12-C16-alkyldimethyl,
Chlorides

And for the record I don't know anything about chemistry.
I'm sure this isn't enough information, wish I could attach the SDS.

Thanks in advance if you can help,
Naz

Someone told me that I can't use stainless steel as they don't like each other.  So my main question is where can I find a chart to find what material it is compatible with.  I have a chart with over 850 chemicals on it but this one isn't listed.
