Title: 2 Inorganic reactions I cannot work out

Hi! I’m doing some extra chemistry work to not get rusty over summer but can’t work out this question.

What are the products of the following reactions and why exactly?

1) AlH(Pr^i)2 + NEt2H

2) Me2SiCl2 + MeLi

For number 1, I was trying to treat it as Aluminium Hydride + Ammonia thinking/hoping the other groups would be cosmetic but I keep getting stuck. Even if the N lone pair attacks the Al, they both become a cation/anion respectively which I’ve always thought wasn’t the best.

My thinking for 2) is that the Silicon is the centre atom of a square planar molecule and would trade off a chlorine for a methyl becoming Me3SiCl but again, I’m not confident with that
