BioFuran Materials makes metal salts and ionic liquids of carboxylic acids. Some of our metal carboxylates are hygroscopic to the extent of pulling moisture from the atmosphere until they get saturated. To minimize the rate at which they absorb moisture, we're trying to coat granules of these salts with waxes. A partner gave us samples of two waxes to use and we're thinking of a melting blending approach. What is the most ideal approach to do this;
1. melt the wax, add the salt, and extrude into pellets
2. melt the salt, add the wax, and extrude into pellets
3. mix the wax and salt, melt the mixture, and extrude into pellets
