Title: Titration
Post by: Shawnyyboi on October 07, 2020, 12:12:34 AM
Hi, so I have this question where it gives me the mass of the analyte (0.1011g) the Volume of the titrant (30.85ml) and the balanced equation of 2KMnO4 +As2O3 -> A5O5+2KMnO3, and it's asking me to solve for the concentration of the unknown KMno4 Solution. How do I do that?

I'm thinking I have to use density but I dont really know.

This is a simple stoichiometry. How many moles of the analyte? How many moles of permanganate will react? You are given volume - what must be the permanganate concentration?

Reaction equation on the product side seems to be completely off, no such products.
