This is a question about dissolving limescale. My scaled up shower doors have not responded to phosphoric, citric or hydrochloric acid (as brick cleaner for removing cement from bricks) so I bought some glycerol to mix with the hydrochloric to make it stick to the glass without running off. But, on googling, it seems that these two chemicals might react - to make a precursor for epoxy resin. So, is it safe or effective to mix these two? Should I just try it? Thanks...

Better dont do it. Also HCl will harm to the metal parts of the shower doors.
