Title: Solubility Question
Post by: NDW on November 24, 2020, 10:10:51 PM
What is your go-to method or parameter for finding a suitable solvent for a compound of interest? The professional chemists probably have a particular solvent for any compound on the solubility spectrum, but I am not a professional, and also, where on the spectrum the compound of interest lies must first be determined.

Do you use eye-ball, LogP, chemistry software, dielectric constant, dipole moment, H-bonding capability, something else?
