Gasoline obtained from fractional distillation is still a mixture. So how is it further seperated?

Gasoline is used primarily as a fuel in most spark-ignited internal combustion engines.

The separation of volatile substances is mainly done by distillation. It can be quite easy, difficult, tricky, or nearly impossible. Then the problem is avoided by synthesizing a pure compound.
