Hello,
I'm looking for a chemical that is extremely good at blocking UV light, but can be easily bleached so that UV light can pass through. Any ideas? The chemicals can not be too corrosive either.
Kind regards,
Calvin

Maybe a metal-salt of some kind? Perhaps it can be UV-blocking at a certain pH? Organic compound could work also, twoo conjugated systems that is non-UV blocking. They can be connected by a group that makes the twoo systems conjugated and UV-blocking at a certain pH.

Would a thin layer of metal be acceptable? Less than 1µm of Zn or any better choice blocks UV and is easily removed.
