Title: getting my initial posts right etc....
Post by: mikefot on February 28, 2021, 05:58:09 AM
Dear All,

I am grateful for being allowed to join the Chemical Engineering Forum community.

I wish to discuss some ideas and notions I have about mixing sparingly soluble non condensable gases in e.g. aqueous solutions and some of the mass transfer problems associated with doing that efficiently.

I am also interested in the relationship between reactor size and mass transfer performance.

I would prefer to present my own understanding of a given situation to you on the site in reasonable detail and then politely ask for feedback and comments from others as to whether they agree with the picture I am presenting and my apparent understanding of a particular practical or technical case.
Then I could proceed stepwise to explain further ideas and assumptions I have on the topic and then pause and check that the others on the site are roughly in agreement with me etc.

I don’t think these are very difficult problems for the people on the site and they should not take very long to deal with.

Regards

Michael F
