Title: preparation of sulfuric acid solution

Hi ;
Basically i have two questions :
1- how to prepare 600 Liters of 50% W/W sulfuric acid from 98 % grade ?
2- is it possible to prepare 1200 Liters of 50% NaoH solution from 49% W/V grade

1.1. You need specific gravity of both acids.
2. Convert the 600l 50% to mass
3. This mass over step 100% to 98%
4. Praktical add some water add slowly the acid wait until temperatur goes back to RT finish to add
water to final volume

2.  Make no sense what is %w/v 
Percent can only v/v used for alcohol spirit's for instance.
Or w/w used for acids, caustic or salt solutions.
49 % is less then 50  % you have to evaporate some water.

49% w/v means 49 g NaOH per 100 mL of solution.

Just to clarify, if it wasn't fully clear from 1.4; add the acid to water, NOT water to acid!

I wrote for practical procedure to do right make up:
1. add some water first ,
2. add slowly the acid and
3. after the temperatur back down add the rest of water to final volume.

For the calculation of NaOH need the specific gravity of the 490 g/l solution.
